Down in the south, the phrase goes for garage sales..."what is one man's trash is another man's treasure" but these cups you have would never be considered trash!  What a TREASURE you have. Thanks for sharing these beautiful cups.

Naut

You have a collection of Tea Cups with feet!  I would never have imagined - LOL - but they look beautiful.  Next we'll be seeing you on the Antiques Road Show.

It is neat what can be and often is found at yard/garage sales...It's been a long time since I went to one. I need to go to one.

These are beautiful and I certianly would not be bored by more pictures. Collecting old china is one of my great pleasures along with Hull china. Great Post!

I think my wife may actually have a few similar cups somewhere. Hey, check out the Antique's Roadshow! Perhaps someone will come in with cups of a similar style, and you'll get a better idea of their history and possible worth!

I love your beautiful cups with feet--very special.  I, for one, wouldn't mind at all being bored by looking at more of your collection.  I don't have any cups with feet, but I have a mug with a whale tail, instead of a handle, that came from the Oregon coast.  LOL

Naut things of beauty , I know the problem I used to pick up jugs more or less for something to do at that one gets as you say addicted it is like hunting and one has to be astute checking carefully for chips or hidden cracks which the vendor will appear not to have noticed and be very surprised to discover a tiny hair crack that is discreetly pointed out before replacing the desired article.I really like your collection, imagine a  tea service as it probably was, not your common or garden.

I've never noticed a cup with feet. Perhaps walked right past

one in an antique shop. Those are elegant.

A beautiful collection. I have inherited some cups with feet. I think it's a  treat once in a while to use the good china on which occasions I bake.
