Here's a word that I hope never gets banned, because it accurately describes both the education system in our country, and the thought processes of those who are supposed to be in charge: JOKE!

The months of March and April are hectic in our school. They are the months that we administer standardized tests, which, as far as I am concerned, are absolutely useless and give us no indication of how our students are really doing. The other months of the school year are for teaching to the test, NOT teaching things our students could use in the real world.

I think this is the new political correctness prep class, how lucky New Yorkers are to have all those folks out there justifying their jobs right before the public eye that was blinded long ago.

I loved what you wrote. On a serious note this is yet another way of destabilizing our culture. Junk, pure and simple, junk in the education system. Why do we have such a low standard of education when we were the highest world wide when we were allowed to read the Bible in school. Insanity certified.

Perhaps they should pay more attention to the cheating that goes on with these tests and not the words! LOL! sam

Funny, how school administrators think. Funny weird, not funny ha-ha.
How's that for a loaded word: "funny"?
Halloween? Dinosaurs? I really hope you're kidding me.
