Glad you made an "A" on the exam and I love my Kindle! It is beginning to be a part of my errands as well.

Re:
Ouch! I broke my big toe a few years ago when I opened the freezer door and a frozen 25 pound turkey fell out and landed on my foot.

If you had broken the thumb of your right hand, you would have been 99% disabled, whereas if you had lost three of your fingers and remained only with your thumb and forefinger, you would have been deemed 40% disabled because you would still be able to hold a pen and write. Yor 'pincer-grip' would have been intact. That is how insurance companies determine whether you are able-bodied or not. How do you like that? You would however not be able to hold your squash racket. You could then sue the owner of the house of the steps you slipped on for pain and sufferimg and loss of amenities of life. Hard luck if the steps were in your own house.

Things are moving along nicely...I've never broken any toes. My mother does, so I've heard how much they hurt.

Naut I thought this was a dog obedience trial. I suppose out in your parts, a couple of broken toes is a minor inconvenience eek, I hope you reset them properly, or went to the clinic.

Broken toes now? Lordy, lordy, well I suppose reaching over your head to shave the wrong side of your face is far more important.I am sorry about your pain though old chap.

Shaving the left side of your face with the right hand?
Reaching over your head and pulling your ear? I like that image. And congrats on getting back the full range of motion in your shoulder. We don't appreciate that as a gift until it's gone, do we? Sorry about your toes.
My radiation oncologist called it graduation too, when the last exam was done... Even gave me a little bookmark with his name in heiroglyphics (he's an Egyptian American).

Congratulations and a really great post. Full of suspense with a happy
ending..well almost happy, true to life anyway for nothing seems to be perfect in the real world. B roken toes and fingers do hurt; my finger is way better as a weather forcast than the dolly on the TV.

This has been a long time healing for you I say you get an 'A'! It was crazy to read this because I had been wondering how it was coming along only yesterday! sam
