I worked out what this was all about.. that was the day he filed his court application. His brother had obviously driven him in to town to do that, and they made a small detour via my house. He was probably waiting, down the hill. Nice.

I would just go on the assumption that it was someone unfamiliar with the neighbourhood not realizing he had entered a cul-de-sac. Of course, if it happens again...I would still wonder at the motive...

I think you did the right thing by going out and doing something else! It would unnerve me too if I thought someone was spying on me! How dreadful! sam

when in doubt Garden and/or write. You are doing the right things
to keep you calm. if he stops the car and gets out call the police. a chat from them will chase him away. works with bullies all the time. my heart gos out to you for i have lived in the state you are and it is most unpleasant.
