CCT

We seem to be getting closer to the time when your wine cellar might come in handy as bunker, LOL. I certainly would hang on to those old wagon wheels as well! And as usual, I love your poem...

FS I will tell her, I can't imagine that your Gran would want a lot of storage space outside.

I miss Shobana as well...My grandmother had a few storage sheds that she never did use.

I love the trips I take in your blogs... from wheels to finding Shobona then slip sliding down truth or lies to knobby knees a real fun ride.

Rumour I did not move them far, yes things seemed heavier when one feels weak, I know the feeling the same as watching someone kick a football ouch, ouch.

Re:

Jay one is always afraid to make comments that are not the norm. Shobana writes on a different blog she is into quite a lot of religious stuff these days, but is hoping to get a slot in a newspaper.

Re: The wheels may just make attractive flower "pots."

Pat I think one has to get in the mind of the thieves, I suspect powerful forces are at play it is the excitement that contributes partly towards it. Also greed of course a no thought

for the people who will feel the loss.

I really enjoy the wit in your poetry, C.C.! And did the wheel you left out become the sacrifice it was meant to be?

What a funny close to your poem! LOVE IT! I hope no one takes the wheels either! I instantly thought of herbs in the wheels to help contain them! And thanks for your thoughts at my blog! It has been way up and then way down! It's something I just have to get through! I was outside raking the lawn today and tidying up the flower beds and it did me a word of good, too! I even had a fire in the patio fire pit, too! LOL! It was a nice relaxing day for me! How are you these days? sam

I love to incorporate old things like this into my garden. The one

you left as a sacrifice, place one of those croaking frogs that annoy you whenever you get too close to them. It will scare the thief away hopefully.

I really miss Shobanna, I thought her poetry was wonderful and I miss reading it. Your poem today made me laugh and that was something I needed. Thank you so much for your kind comment today, I needed that too.

CCT, that does sound like an interesting idea, planting flowers within them

or around them, depending on how much room you have...could be a weighty decision though....(must be the meds I'm taking...)

The wheels may just make attractive flower "pots."

So, it reads like folks are swiping metal in your area, too. Here, they've stolen the copper coils from the heating and air conditioning systems of schools and churches, copper wire when they can get inside the electric company's fences, copper guttering off the third story roofline. With that much risk and difficulty, I'd think the thieves would have an easier day of it to just work for a paycheck.
