Thanks, Amanda....
and thank you for the continued prayers as I recover...I'll probably be on Blogit on an off-and-on basis, trying to avoid overdoing it..plus, its Liz's tax season and she will be on the computer a lot (which is probably a good thing because it will help keep me off.
..)..

Thanks, TAPS....
Its good to be back, but I have to remind myself not to overdo it...well, Liz will help in that regard as she uses the computer to do her income tax clients and will be shooing me off if necessary.

sam, I did not realize the recovery would take so long either...
But especially with the discovery of 5 spots that had to be dealt with instead of just one, that no doubt makes a difference...anyway, I can get up and walk around the house, read, write (blog), and nap when needed...
Yes, I think the coalition forces only answer is to get out of Afghanistan..its an unwinable war.

WOW! I did not realize it could take 6 months to get well! I can imagine being in bed is boring but one must do what they must to get well, that's the most important thing for me! And on Christopher, I am beside myself because the Army keeps changing their mind on his qualifications for what he has served! It boggles my mind let alone frightens me to no end! And you are right, they don't want us there and I wish we would leave! The killings over the accidental burning is just an outrage and a ploy by the militants to stir up trouble! If they read their holy text and understood it they might be ashamed of the way they carry on! Who knows in the long run though! This thing with them killing regarding anything that offends them is not what the Lord wants and I will never believe anything else! But, I am glad you are making a fine recovery! sam

Pat_B, yes I'm finding that to be so very true....
Blog a little, then get up and walk around the house for a break, take a nap, read - my new daily routine (more or less)....I can't wait til it warms up a bit and I can take some very short walks in that routine, too.

Wiley, I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday when you go for
your colonoscopy...the test itself isnt all that bad, but "preparation day", the day before, don't venture too far from the toilet.

and don't worry about being behind in this... It will wait. Every day, in every way, you'll be getting better and better. :)
