Re: This is great! It's shivery with suspense and "do I dare hope?" feelings...

Pat broken hearts are cheap today cheaper than yesterday little ones are one and six, larger ones are half a crown. Actually it is a job to keep folks interested in the story when such a little piece of it is presented at one time as you well know. It is almost impossible to do this on the poetry blog but on the journal hopefully people just think wonder what silly old CC is saying today. Well I imagine.

Adnohr while we have not finished our tea yet, one cannot hurry this type of English lady. Yes I like anything with licorice in it, Yum Yum.

Re: a bit more please...and sometimes a few treats in the trolley make life

Kabu well I don't particularly like shopping, but it is a necessity of life, so we are to believe, once a week is enough for me, I have to avert my eyes from all those lovely creamy, delicious, mouthwatering fancies  and head for the stack of non-alcoholic drink.

Re:

SAM I am not surprised I would not use half that if Arthur did not keep turning on heaters and saying we must keep warm or putting on the oven for an hour to heat  a pie. He is not very economical when other people are paying. You bet it will go up when your daughter lives at home.

Re: CCT

Naut fizzy fangs are one of those new strange sweets in the kiddies selection, very fizzy on first suck, then chewy, suppose to be made of natural products, there was a bit of a backlash when we has foot and mouth on the use of animal products,

CCT

You must tell me what fizzy fangs are - maybe we even have them here, but I wouldn't know...I would have to ckeck with with my LSW if our bills are higher than yours - she looks after that paying bills, since I tend to forget...And I like the beginning of your short story...

You are so right that the cart can get full in a hurry! And I spend about half of what you do for gas and electric! But I avoid the air conditioner and I keep it at 67F in the winter! Now all that might change since my daughter is moving back home in April! I have warned her that I will need her to help with anything that is over what I normally pay! She was fine with that since I am not charging her rent! She is going back to college so she will need the extra money and I am glad I can help her out! I enjoyed your short story, too! sam

I think

it was rather written just for fun and it worked.  I don' have to know the ending.  I like to guess.

Is there more of that story? If you've lost the ending, could you maybe come up with another? Or is it meant to be up to the reader to decide? (I love Allsorts!).

This is great! It's shivery with suspense and "do I dare hope?" feelings...

somehow, since we do not know the ending, we think it will go as things have gone for us, somebody's going to end up with a broken heart. But this once it would be so good to be wrong. :)
