So glad you had a good outing and so thankful you both are safe & sound back home! Here in the south, just about everything comes to a "haltl" when things get that messy; which, thankfully isn't too often.

Blizzard driving is a genuine blast! Once, my teen daughter drove us 100
miles to meet another daughter coming via bus. There was so much snow we could not see where the road was, so she lined it up with phone lines along the road and managed to stay on it. I said, "Whatever you do, don't stop. There's so much snow coming down, we'd never be able to move again."

Glad you got home ok and in one piece.
Richard and I used to have adventures like that. He also drove well in all kinds of weather and especially in the mountains. Many Blessings

Having lived in the East before, I know how quickly a “light snow” can turn into a treacherous drive. Glad you had a nice outing and made it home safely. Tomorrow B and I are off on an “adventure” – San Francisco for a few days then onto Palm Springs. I’m so excited!

It's great to be with someone who can drive so well. Some people bring about too much excitement.

I read this earlier today and came away without making a comment because I was too busy trying to figure out what I thought you said. How I read it was, "We found half a decent Greek place..." and I kept wondering where was the half you didn't find. LOL
So here I am again and this time I read it right.

Sounds like quite the adventure.
Who'd a thunk a sudden snowfall could be a budget-minder?

With Wiley's long experience in what in this country are normal conditions I wouldn't worry! It's people from away, who had never seen snow anywhere but on calendars and postcards before they got here, I'd worry about...

Was thinking about you two last night - seeing the storm and knowing from your post that you had gone into town. I was to go babysit the rugrats, but bad roads changed those plans. Glad you got home safe!!

Goodness Kabu, you should pin a star on that driver, eek, I would have wanted four wheel drive or chains. I am glad you both got home safely, I bet the automatic door was a blessing.
