Probably that is the best way to react to someone who has deep thoughts but is not sharing - just go back into your own and wait it out. A really good poem, CC - could picture the tea going on. I hope Archie is going to be okay!

Well Sam however painful , it is better to know now than later as long as one does not jump out of the frying pan etc. . A good job he has got a good strong wife to support him Archie is known to crumble under stress.

Your poem is a bit reflective of what my daughter is going through right now! She just isn't as attached to her boyfriend as she once was and he can't visualize a life without her! Alas, it will be as it will be in the end! Poor Archie, it's so tough to not know what is wrong and yet the pain lingers! I hope there is an answer for him soon! If you are right you will have the upper hand for a very long time and all I can say is LOL! sam
