The only time I use a car wash is in the winter, I get enjoyment out of washing my own car. That way I can see any trouble spots before they grow out of control, but then I was an auto body man for 17 years too.

Things like the metals, temperature and acidity of the kind of water we have up here can make a huge difference at times. Great post my friend.

Hands-free car washes are convenient, but for a thorough job, you're better off doing it yourself . . . if you can. That's why my wife and I don't own a dishwasher. Nothing beats doing the dishes by hand ( as I should know! ).

the last car wash I went to a while back the equipment broke down and instead they hired people to do the equipments job, but some how my car came out scratched in areas I had never seen scratches before so needless to say I am going to try a different car wash
