I feel for your Dad on the kidneys stones! I have had that problem and it is nothing but pure pain! I was delighted to read that you embraced filling in! You have grown tremendously in confidence these last few years and so I say kudos to you! sam

Your Dad is a very wise man. You are fortunate having him as a mentor for your future role as leader. Your education will assist you in putting it all together in due time. Your are getting what one cannot learn from books.
I read about the procedure your Dad will have. It actually shakes the body so that the stones breakdown and naturally are removed from the system. As Naut said, that is a better way than a tube or surgery. As you, I do not like the medical procedures on the body!!

I've had kidney stones and had that 'shocking' procedure, and it wasn't a big deal, since they didn't stuff me into a Tube...
