Silly can be super!

I was a kid, but I remember those days. You're right. America needed to laugh. Besides, John Ritter was truly talented, especially in scenes requiring timing and physical comedy. Comedy doesn't always get the respect it deserves.

Being an "oldster," I do remember seeing the first runs of Three's Company, and of course it was silly. However, the premise was serious and groundbreaking. And if you really wanted silly, you just had to watch Gilligan's island, which boasted ( even by Aaron Spelling himself ) the silliest premise of all!
