That's so sad for your Dad
He sounds like a businessman who knows what he wants and goes and gets it. However, big companies cannot be believed just like big government. I wish him well and from the way you speak of him, he will find success.

Sounds like a damn good idea to me! The problem with large oil companies (and most large companies) is that of necessity (because of their size) they're run by bureaucracies, and as is typical of any bureaucracy, they're not very flexible. Everybody covers his butt, and nobody wants to stick his neck out and take responsibility...
