I will try to keep people updated, if not through Blogit, through email (I've heard computers are allowed in some areas of the hospital, and will try to confirm it Thursday at the pre-admission clinic).

The waiting is the worst Rumour, once you are in there you will just be whisked along into recovery. I am making a potato spell, and a heap of vibes. This is beside the usual benediction.

I don;t think you are a broken record, it has to be wearing heavily on your mind and you should let us know so we can support and pray for you! I will be doing that for you! I am thankful they have found it early, my BIL was stage 4 when his was discovered and he went through hell to get well! Just be strong and know that all will be well in the end!
The Wings are doing so well now! They finally have a winning record on the road! They have won the 9 out of the last 10 games! Also, the home streak of 17 straight is remarkable! I so want to break the record held by the Bruins, just 4 more wins! Last night's game was so on the edge of the seat! But to watch Datsyuk and Hudler work their magic was so fun! Plus they are 6-0 in shootouts! We did lose Howard to a broken pinkie finger! He finished the game although it was broken in the 3rd period! Conklin needs to step up his game and we should be fine! His record is 3-5 this year! But with two more games on the road he could head back to the 'Joe' with a 500 record! There is rumor, lol, that the Wings may trade for a forward or two by the trade deadline the end of this month but I hope it is just rumor because I like the guys they have now and I think they all skate very well together! But what do I really know since I am sitting in Boise and they are there making the decisions! lol GO WINGS! sam

I'll make sure I have lots of light reading material for sure, and some word puzzle books, if I can swipe a few from Liz...I'll be sharing a room with three other men so some earplugs will be in good order, too...

Here's wishing you good luck and a speedy recovery.
I hope you've got a book or two you've been wanting to read, something hilarious by David Sedaris, since "laughter is the best medicine," or a book of short articles or stories that you can put down for napping or assisted hikes down the hall, etc. And a laptop if you've got access to one. :)
