I did the same when I got my hair cut a couple years ago.. though I did not have much hair to donate since my hair is very fine.
How sad about TAPS sister. I had just seen some comments in passing and will be on my way to her blog, but I think it's really great that you posted about it.. I miss so much here these days as quickly as I am in and out.

What a great thing to do to donate it! I bet it feels different too! Doesn't it have to be 12" inches before it qualifies to be donated? If so, you have to be feeling very light headed so to speak! I have Tap's and her family in my prayers! A very sad time for them! Shelly

And what I do have may go as a result of any chemo I might have to have...I have often teased Liz about shaving off the hair I have left, but always got back a "Don't you dare."..lol...well, she may not have any choice with this situation, depending on how it develops...
