R I saw a baby hawk scoop down on the backyard. It flew away with Blue the bluejay. Years later it returned as an adult. But it left the birds alone sir. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

So I must wonder who is missing a bike without brakes, or if she ever got the thing stopped,

LOLOL! All I can picture is Ellie on that bike racing down the hill, waving her arms & yelling for everyone to "Look out!!!" Love the way you told us about it - you made it come alive!

We actually heard birds singing outside our back door this morning and twice last week a humming bird dropped by the feeder we have hanging by our kitchen window (very strange for this time of year).

Oh Poor Ellie
Could you kindly tell us what happened to Ellie. Did she crash or was there a convient slope where she came to a short hill.

I have a tendency to hold down the heat to keep more money in my prockets! Now low enough to shiver though! When I have company I turned it up a bit so they are comfortable. I think my attitude is not give it to the utility company! lol sam

As for Ellie who hates money,
I don't hate it. I don't want to accumulate a lot of it -- lucky for me, because that's never been a problem. But if I ever won millions in the lottery, I'd know how to invest and spend it -- divide it among my kids, the university where I worked and graduated, and the library.
