Re:

Sam Yes was quite disappointed that we did not laugh, his wife was sitting nearby or he might have tried harder.

Patrick's joke was weedy but I laughed! The diction could be a troublesome thing but it's all about the practice! I never thought about the continuing of speech makes it all work better! So I guess you have to write your comments, then read them, oops, that's very self defeating! I was joshing! You will get because you are persistent, a nice asset! I liked how you used mean-full! lol sam

Re:

Yes I expect they are quite good now Jay I used them quite a lot ten years ago. It is annoying when one can't remember something that one wished

Re: So now you're learning to be a dictator.

Well my advice Pat is if you have an accent and a say things like forks instead of folks. If you have not installed Windows 7 version11.5 Dragon is working beyond my expectations.

Like Pat_B, I bet you are going to have fun with some of the results from that program! Like the joke too. Did the man find his dog?

I'd love to hear you reading that stuff aloud.  I wonder if you sound like I think you might sound.  But, then again, I don't even sound like I think I sound.

CCT

Your experience with that voice-to-text thingy sort of confirms my suspicion - that it's not for me! For one thing, I use too many four-letter words that I would have to weed out...

I have thought time and again that I should look into a program like that, but what I think I need more is a little recorder for in the car use, I have lost so much in an empty car talking to myself with ideas that I would normally put on paper for later use...I like the joke CCT and I am going to try it out on my grandson a little later...Take care.

So now you're learning to be a dictator.

This should bring some smiles as you compare what you think you said to what it thinks it heard. Have fun with it. :)
