He was very handsome :-) and so are you .. . I don't know if this will help any Naut but I have learned, dealing with my own pain, that we never lose those we love if we keep remembering the joy they brought into our lives... I know your friend will be in your heart always... Be well my friend xoxoxo

So often one belittles their own pain
because they feel selfish because someone has it worse. I have learned that pain is pain, no matter how big or little; it still hurts.
You have lost a member of your family, a companion and clearly a very loved friend. Don't apologize for loving him or for grieving his loss. Much love to you my friend.

Definitely embrace. That is a great (but sad that there can't be more of them) last picture for us.

A beautiful doggie, Naut. I love the gentleman one - he looks so distinguished and, as you dubbed it, has all the airs of the French Aristocracy. You know my heart is with you.

Words are never adequate at a time like this.....I'm holding you in my heart. In exchange for unconditional love and adoration.....which seems to only come from pets, we are doomed to suffer the pain of surviving a loved one....usually repeatedly. I have to say, for myself, that it is a small price to pay ......but only in retrospect. Thank you soooo much for sharing the joy you found in Jag with us......it's been a pleasure.((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))

He was such a handsome dog and he loved 'daddy' that is easy to see. Be blessed. We are sad for you.
