I love these stories, Justi. I could so feel your mother's hesitation, but the desire winning out...then again her determination to tell your dad the cost...knowing he wouldn't be happy., You have brought them both to life in this post. Very well done!!

CCT I guess that was the way it was. They loved each other totally and both got their ways in areas where the other was not keen on an idea but it meant a lot to the other, such as the hat she keep wearing it and he kep shaking his head and grinning.

This is a grand area for doing just that. When you have a vision and take it from zero to fruition it is a fascinating trip. From a drawing you have made from your mind to cutting a pattern on flat goods that will flow to fit the dimensions of a human body correctly that is engeerining, art, and drama all rolled into one.

I think Daddy liked to puff and blow, Mummy had him wrapped round her little finger. It was the days of shared pain and love.
