CC

Loved how you handled the solicitors, I would appreciate the chocolates too. Happy your computer is working thanks to Arthur and that it's raining thus forcing you to have a day doing something dry.

Of course the solicitors wanted the chocolate - nobody ever buys them gifts :P

It can be tricky trying to figure out all the Microsoft documents.

Re:

Nita  Goodness someone has gone crazy. At least you have the satisfaction of knowing the articles have been appraised for quality. Something may turn up perhaps a confession if you offer forgiveness.

Re: I'm happy to hear Arthur is okay.

Good thinking Pat I was becoming worried at being a couch potato, we can all start smoking now.

Re:

Well that's a relief Sam I was kind of fearful for those last days, well he's got to have a drink with the lads. One has to build up a rapport, when one's life may depend on someone going the full Monty. I am so glad that you will be able to relax a little at last. Oh dear I owe you so many hugs.

Re: C_C_T..that exercise machine sounds like a wolf in sheep's clothing....

HELP RUMOUR they were only ladies. I'll try and photo it, I mean for 14-50 surely it would not have a malicious intent, funny they were being sold so cheaply.

Re:

Well Jay as Arthur suggested put it against the door and then there is no chance of falling backwards. Well I don't like a lot of paper in the bin I compost for veggies Jay, but for the flower garden it is OK. It is just that I do not like chemicals in the veggies and some print may be not be organic. Of course one needs some soft material to help break paper down I just bung it in the bin and tip offcuts  from the vegetables tea bags, anything old leaves if wet and build it up. Yes problem if it breaks down on the garden  it robs the soil

of nutrient,

Not answering the phone is on my list now for a while.  With the family issue now with my brother, many call out of curiosity, not good will.  Hang in there!

Excercise machines can be tricky - I think balance plays a big part. I also think all their testing is done by young whippersnappers who wouldn't get hurt if they fell off anyway! Now I'm trying to think of a way to anchor you when you do lose that belly.

Yes please be careful on that machine, maybe you could get some sort of weight on the front of it. I had no idea that one could compost paper, I have been using it for weed control in the vegetable garden.

C_C_T..that exercise machine sounds like a wolf in sheep's clothing....

You be careful you don't go doing a back flip off of it...Arthur may have a good point about you standing on it against a wall as a sort of an anchor (I'm trying to picture exactly what you bought)...you didn't give the poor lawyers a chocolate?  Well, maybe that's a good thing you didn't..goodness knows what is considered bribery these days...

I try to limit what I buy from the catalogues but it is so hard not to want more! I can't wait to see the carnations, too! And it was good to read that Arthur is doing better and you are getting the hang of you new machine! I hope you find a good way to stabilize the thing! And what a hoot on the chocolates, people will whimper for them, lol~

I had a very long phone call with Christopher today! It turns out that he is only 11 and a half hours ahead of my time. But the good news is that he was heading out in a few hours! I always have a lot of questions and I try to make them yes or no because he cannot tell me where he is or where he is headed! I know he is anxious because now he is in transition again but I know we made great progress on it, too! It seems to be as hard coming out as it was going in! I tried hard to get him to understand that it is a process and to take it one step at a time, and take the time to make the best decisions. Then he told me, and I surely did not want to hear it, that his deployment doesn't count insofar as not being deployed because he volunteered to go. He was supposed to get out in March of 2013 when his contract with the Gov't expired. Now that may not happen because his unit is going to be deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for 9 months! He is going to try to avoid it but I doubt he will be able to because it is his unit going! This will not be anything like Afghanistan so it is more about being gone 9 months than anything else. He did say he could have a beer there and that cheered him up a bit! I don't why they drink, he didn't get it from me, lol!

I was happy to be there for him because he means the world to me. I have always had one rule with my kids and that is not to tell me the scary stuff until it is over. Today he told me about his last manuever and it was a bit scary, he was even scared, albeit reserved, but he came through it just fine. And, his main job over there was to spot the IED's and another thing that could cause harm. He was proud to tell his momma that he did not lose a man and no IED's blew up on his watch either! CC, that has been my greatest fear since he has been there and thankfully nothing happened. He told me he would call at his first lay over. He couldn't tell me where that will be until he gets there! I said fine, I did not need to know anything that would jeopardize them!

Down to hours my dear friend, down to hours! Thank you for being such a tremendous friend to me through all this! I doubt I would have made it without you! So, you get a  and three hugs,  and a big THANK YOU! You are the best of the best for me! sam  The flag comes down in a matter of hours and I won't miss it one bit! WOOHOO!

I'm happy to hear Arthur is okay.

As long as you pay attention to what you're doing, I think your exercise machine will be good for you. Heard someone say today that sitting is the new cigarettes. It used to be we were all going to die unless we quit smoking, now we have to get up off the couch. So you're already a step ahead of the trend.
