Quite the story! It sounds like poor old Arthur needs to do some exercise more than you do!

But I must caution you about this business of giving up alcohol and replacing it with Irnbru(???) and Dr. Pepper? Irnbru (whatever it is) sounds positively poisonous, and don't think Dr. Pepper is healthy just because it's called 'Doctor' - you'll end up with palpitations of your own from all that stuff...I too tried to give up alcohol once - I actually had just some tomato juice for lunch one day, because I had run out of vodka and thought it mightn't do any harm...Well, when it was time for supper I had such palpitations that I decided to end that dangerous experiment and quickly stocked up...

Re: C_C_T...you and Arthur take it easy on that new machine...

Rumour carrying the thing in was the first exercise no wonder they need a lot of iron ore in China.

I couldn't think of the word until I read Justi's comment - visual.  I could picutre the two you trying to maneuver that darn exercise machine.  Entertaining post!

This was such a visual post I had great fun just watching the trip. Take it easy on the machine and enjoy all the benefits.

Now, now, I saw this starting at the sale bin with the weights! Sibling rivalry all the day long! You are smart to go slow and poor Arthur should have done the same. I am a sucker for a sale bin, but I wait for 75-90% off then I dive in! lol I loved how you told the story, it felt like you were talking to me and that's always a good thing. I would think other would feel the same way! Nice touch! sam

Sports Machine

I thoroughly enjoyed your episode with Arthur.  You have a style of writing, in which the reader actully sees it as if in a movie.  Can't wait till next chapter. Amanda
