Hi Pat perhaps it is peer pressure, or they take a sordid pleasure in try to stir the other guy up that is how friends are made, perhaps knowing it is not serious. I don't know if it would work with women. although I have found they are more generous in forgiving one's
indiscretions, well if one is humble.

Justi dear I only drink very carefully I have seen the result of doing otherwise. The tablet I take says do not drink, so I take a smaller dose of each.

Adnohr I am always serious, but Archie is on the thin side, he worries a lot.
I think those sandwiches were in the days when my Mum was a maid and had to collect the letters on a silver tray. I don't think some mothers would know the technique

I thought afternoon tea consisted of thin cucumber sandwiches (with the crusts removed) and a piece of cake? I believe I read it somewhere, and it struck me as being just the right thing! Is there a big difference in the size of Archie and his wife? Or maybe you weren't being serious....

Well I did the same thing, got freezing out in the mud room without a coat and it's -20c, I thought I'd just be a few minutes and I was an hour. So I had to get in the shower to warm up too. That's nice your brother is close-by, and very helpful as well, I envy you that because Danny is 3 hours away in Laval, Québec and Joe is out west in Calgary which is a three day drive anyway.

Sometimes the way men get along together
is befuddling. Sometimes they seem like rational, logical people, sensible as all get-out. And sometimes they get all fluffed up over another guy's suggestion to go at something from a different angle. My two middle sons are like that, either one can get a project done for their mom, but put the two of them together and we have a stalemate.
