Yes we love to get them out but dread putting them away, I think it is that way around the world...Is that a blue jay I see in the photo?

You are making me hungry for home made bread! YUMMY! I have a hard time taking things down at the end of the season, too! I just want it to go on and on but it must come to an end! I got lovely flowers this year, too! They make such a difference and the house feels so warm with them! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Kabu, as usual so far this winter I find myself saying
"Rain, rain, go away"...seems more like spring than winter..we will likely leave our decorations up til Sunday (at least the tree)..they just make the house seem more festive and bright..

YOu are so lucky... I am ending my year here in Miami Beach... no snow! a pleasant 72 degrees :-) but it does not feel like New Years somehow... Just same old same old ... Oh well... I think I WILL bake some bread... and cookies too... Be well sweetie and have a wonderful holiday xoxoxo

today I will take away all the signs of christmas, the floweres for my birthday 3 weeks ago just now gave up the ghost so I sadly threw them out, but not the memories of my surprise I received from daughter
