Kabu
Oz in January sounds like a damn good idea! If my therapist would let me, I'd offer to carry your bags, but when I said broached that subject, she asked, "Is this a man or a woman you plan to go with?"
"A wonderful lady," I said.
"Well," she said, "your shoulder is nowhere near ready for that kind of strain yet!"

I for one shall miss you a lot! You two need a vacation place down in Florida to get away for the winters. You can rent it to others when you are not using it. I worry about your tiredness in winter now. Love you and want to hear how you are doing daily, let us know...

I just love reading your postings
Keep warm...snuggle up to Wiley, and enjoy your time in Australia. Remember, it's the moments connecting to other moments that create our cherished memories

Pat_B is right, I think. Wrapped or not - you have to show security everything at the airport. Bummer!!

You are making me right nervous Kabu. When are you going and when are you coming back. You will be alright and Wiley has his Angel coming over, he can't do much outside, so he will be OK . Next year make your relatives visit you.

I hope you didn't bother to wrap those gifts, M'Dear...
Because airport security will make you open every one.

Kabu, you guys up north just don't live right.. just teasin'..:)
We are getting snow right now, but its only supposed to be an inch or two...its cold, around 28F, but that would be almost a heat wave where you are...it must make it most interesting trying to pack for a "summer" trip.

leaving winter for summer... Ah, yes... I remember...
Suggestion: take just a few clothes to get you to the stores to pick up a few Ts and pants... then leave em there in someone's attic or spare dresser for your next visit! The least luggage to go through customs, the best!
