That's a great idea about the Christmas card.

Justi I will send that card just to bother them  loll  but I have to say that no one should be required to attend something that makes them uncomfortable.  That said, the music should not be changed if most of the students would enjoy it.  Requiring ALL to listen to it is a little tyrannical I think.  Compromise can be reached without depriving anyone of their rights.  No one will come to the Lord by force... it has to be their choice right?  and honey attracts more flies than vinegar so I would simply tell the student body that the concert is on and will be great but I would leave attendance up to the individuals and would not in any way require comments on the performance.  I have missed you my friend :-)  Just in case I don't make it back before then,  have a great Christmas... All my love.  xoxoxo

Not being a Christian, I'd be more inclined to suggest to the ACLU to engage in a physically impossible act, LOL...   And you have

Hi sweet lady. I agree with you but that may be a difficult thing to have happen. First before even considering Christianity they have to leave their basic directions. Have you read their initial charter? Their goal is to take away all private ownership of property and business and allow government to manage our lives totally. They have unabashedly put that into print. I appreciate your love for all.

I think I would pray more for them to come to an understanding that they are slighting as much as they think those who may be uncomfortable are slighted! It is more than rights for me when it comes to accepting the differences or likenesses in people! Praise the Lord from the mountaintops for He is deserving and anywhere else that folks come together in his name! sam

Adnohr:

Oh your words are blessings to the ears of the Christians in the US. We have all sorts of things stopped because one child, parent or grandparent may be Aethist and feel uncomfortable. Then the ACLU comes along and threatens suit if they do not shut it all down. This is a constant here. Children have always given gifts in school, not now. Thank you for your intelligent comment. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I'm in the dark here - haven't heard about this. But I would go with what Reasons said. If one person is not comfortable, let him/her sit it out somewhere else. There's no reason to punish a multitude for one.

ah i like your way of thinking...and sending cards in this case is a good

idea.

The school or college should make an exception to the 'every one must

attend' rule and excuse the troubled individual from being at the event. This might prevent the situation from becoming more troubling while reducing the publicity that the reluctant person may be seeking.
