Kabu

Sounds delicious! I am not at all in a Christmasy mood yet, but luckily I still have a few days to work one up...

A Saturday chat

Always a pleasure to read your work. As for the squirrels, they are swarming in our pecan trees in the backyard.

How thoughtful to give the coupon to someone who could use! I have had that experience of thinking I would get a good deal only to discover otherwise! The weather has been odd this year in my neck of the woods, too! We are in our rainy season and it is nothing but dry! I could feel the elation as you described what you will be baking in your new oven, too fun! I can smell the aroma of Wiley's bread all the way in Idaho, too! MMMM good! Have a great baking week! sam

Great chatting as always darling.  You always make me feel as if I were right there,  holding a warm cup of tea and just listening to you pour your heart out.  That is your gift :-) Gawd I have missed you!  Its so nice to read you again. I have tons to tell you all but it will have to wait.  There are so many to read, so many to tell how missed they were,  but none more than you my dear friend xoxoxo

We can always use those vibes Kabu. Our weather is the same here, there has been some snow, but it is all gone now except for in the mountains which I should take a picture of, and cold too.

We have yet to get a substantial snow. I know that it is coming.

My snow is nearly all gone too, Kabu. It rained and rained...didn't even get to take the toboggan for its first run yet!. Love your post - so warm!

I can't deal with coupons.  I've tried and I've tried and I've tried....ain't got no satisfaction.   I cut them out and try to sort them, but I very much dislike what it takes to use them.

Maybe you'll get that snow you want for Christmas.

Personally, I wouldn't miss it, ever, but I happen to know some kids who are getting new sleds, "snow boards" for Christmas and what a let-down if the grass is dry... We had a forecast of snow a couple weeks ago, I brought the snow shovel in from the garage so I wouldn't have to slip and slide my way down the steps... Must be a kind of insurance, because so far, none to shovel. :)

sending those vibes right back to you, Kabu and Wiley....

its cold here, too, around 22F, but still no snow beyond a dusting....

Remember once we had a pet goose for Christmas dinner of course we being kids were heartless and probably thought we could annoy the poor old Dad. Poor old Jack we murmured as he carved. He stood it for a while and then gave us a warning to shut up or we would get a well, something. He said afterwards he did not enjoy that dinner at all. Ever afterwards we had cockerals as they were not human.
