I adore how you embrace the snow! I am tired of it so I moved to the desert! You make my heart smile with glee, too! sam

We have only had real snow in the mountains, good to know you got your door fixed and I hope Wiley's pain goes away soon.

Well you wanted it to snow Kabu, but I can't fault you for wanting a bit of convenience.
The sun is still shining here at this moment 8:20 only weakly but as long as it does not snow.

Kabu, our snow melted fast....
It barely got above freezing today (and yesterday) but the sun was shining, so our snow soon disappeared...now they're talking about another inch or two tonight/tomorrow...I wish we had a garage or even a carport to protect the new Cruze from the winter elements...maybe once we are both retired we can work something out..

I'm so happy that you are getting an early Christmas gift...I actually, just finished reading about it on Wiley's blog. You will wonder, how you ever lived without it

An automatic garage door opener, and the ability to park
inside and avoid icy windshields and sweeping snow off the thing before you can move it are on my wish list -- or should I say must haves if I ever move to another house.

There is something so mesmerizing about a snowfall...I have a push up garage door as well. My dad wants me to change it, but I'm happy with it.

We had the old push up kind, too, at our old house. In 1985 when we moved to the present one, it was a "double wide door" and we had the job of pushing it up AGAIN.....until finally installing the remote system. My husband thought that was a waste of money and thought we were being lazy to want a door like that! But his thoughts were overruled on that subject and he has enjoyed this bit of convenience. I, too, was not a strong person and I guess the complaints got loud enough that he changed his mind. Anyways, I thought I had died and gone to heaven when we got this new door that no one had to get out into the rain and snow....to push up or down!
I truly relish my luxuries in life. And you, two, deserve them. ENJOY.

I will never forget when we exchanged one for an old heavy garage door for my Dad. He fell in love with it immediately and said it was the best gift he had ever had.
