What lovely words of gratitude and love. We are all very blessed to have this site to share, and care about each other. The love here does show, and for that I am very grateful

Kabu, even though we Canadians celebrated our Thanksgiving
back in October, I think our Prime Minister should declare tomorrow Thanksgiving #2 and make it a holiday...I agree with your philosophy in living every day to its fullest...each day is a gift..

Goodness everyone is being so nice shall I say I love cinnamon eek. I love pie but can't have that it is too fattening. I think they just make faces of pumpkins over here, but obviously some of these ladies could make a dish cloth taste yummy,
Do we have a day off tomorrow I wonder, no use posting if everyone is celebrating. Be happy Kabu.

Speaking of pumpkin pie...
I used to bake excellent pumpkin pies for every Thanksgiving and Christmas. These were less pumpkin, more custard, mild-flavored with ginger and nutmeg and real whipped cream. Only a year or so ago did my kids mention that they hate pumpkin pie. They only ate it because they didn't want to hurt my feelings. They watched for my reaction, holding their breaths a bit -- and when I busted out laughing, they laughed too. Why didn't you say something, I said. I'd much rather have had pecan pie, myself.
