I like the changing seasons too but I have had a time of it adjusting to the early darkness this year! sam

you are a very good person to accept the time change
and the seasons so well. I complain about them and
don't like the shorter days. But you have a great way
of looking at it. I should be more open to it.

I am with you ..when I lived in Sydney, it was sort of one season with a
few colder days in July and a few hotter days in January/February.

I agree...don't think the holidays would be the same if you lived somewhere like Hawaii

I think it is coy too. I like the sight and sounds of fireplace and love lit candles and good smells.

FSI, and its been good to see autumn linger....
We've had some 60's and a lot of temps in the 50's the past couple of weeks, although the evenings cool right down...winter will no doubt move autumn aside soon, but I'm glad to see fall lingering.

Nicely described, FSI
I appreciate the seasons too; can't imagine living in a climate that is the same year round.

Well I don't mind the cold dark nights FS it was not so much fun years ago delivering pariffin when one was wet through and no lights.
