It does not seem so bad having fish Amanda and of course one can have chips. I do like the fish better in batter. My brother fishes for trout but he uses a barb-less hook and puts them back in the pool. I don't think I would like one that
fresh.

I eat fish as well. It's a refreshing, tasty food.
Those were nice memories for you to share - we all have our own fond memories, of people we have known, and felt close to. My grandmother passed away just over a year ago. Particular memories I have of her are when, after mowing her back and front grass - always the back first, then the front - I would go in and sit down in the living room, and chat to her for up to half an hour, and then I would go - she would usually give me five pounds for myself. It wasn't something I'd ask for, but she'd give anyway. Those are actually my fondest memories of her. Nice blog Amanda! Have a nice evening. Thomas.

I can appreciate not wanting to go since you were young; and how true we don't get the importance of it all until we no longer have it! I think fish is great food, too! Shelly

smoking fish?
Why was your Papa smoking fish? Were all of the tobacco shops closed?

Fish is a favorite here, too. In fact yesterday I had a huge fish sandwich
at the best restaurant in town- an old-fashioned diner. That sandwich was more like a complete dinner, served with lettuce, tomato, tangy dipping sauce, and potato chips.
