O my, the end was too funny! I rarely watch television myself. If I want to watch something I go to streaming or other sites and do just fine for free! How horrible for the young girl, I can see how it would make you anxious! There are some memories that cannot be erased. I laughed when I read that Arthur plans to lighten your wallet for you, better watch out I think he would do it too! lol sam

Life can be hard, worrying makes it harder, good thought.  Doing something light or constructive can improve matters.

OH don't Taps it makes even me feel schreechy. No you won;t find it in the dictionary .

Remember when your mum moved an enamel bowl over grit in the sink it made one's hair stand on end.

I like what you write and hear what you think. I hate to think of having to go into a home someday, we just want to stay in this one.I'm happy you didn't pack it in here at Blogit, that makes me want to stick around too. I have a difficult time thinking of things to write about which is why I stick with the humour posts. Maybe I'll give your free style a go, this is an enjoyable read my friend.

I understand the old feelings pop up.....write them out here...this is

a place where sympathetic understanding abounds.

We too are fed up with television and how much one pays for NOTHING...hardly anything to watch I would rather read my friends on Blogit than watch TV or whatever.

C_C_T...we've all but gotten rid of our tv...

no cable channels anymore, no satellite, no rabbit ears...we get about two watchable stations, and thats enough for us....

My, seeing a girl get hit by a lorry would have been unbearably traumatic!...no wonder you still have visions of it at times....

I think those not from the area of the problem should be told as an answer for "what do you do in your spare time?" Tell them you do research of the lives and activities of those forigners who represent companies in various capacities in your country. You are looking for goof up so they can be let go and a native of your country and area can be hired in his/her stead. Tell them you have been most successful. You don't have to say at what!

Perhaps you should have said courting...he may have had someone in mind. I know what you mean when you talk about old feelings popping up, I think we all have them...some more  than others, but who is to say...I don't think there are limits.

Thorny Subject
I am fascinated by the thorn trees in our woods.  The thorns are anywhere from three inches to five inches long and very sharp and pointed.  The trees are absolutely covered with them.
