Re: adnohr
It is so wonderful to see you out and about here on Blogit. Actually I lost about a 100 lbs of fish, chicken, beef and pork. I saved only what was still frozen some had thawed. No we still do not know what is wrong with it. It is still not working, it is cooling but very low levels. I think this has caused me not to stock up so. I usually buy when things are on sale or coupon specials and stock up on certain things. No more. This has been a few days of going over the freezer and refrigerator with toothbrush technique to be shinny, and mostly empty. Good to get a comment from you.

Losing food is not good! Lucky you caught it soon enough to use most of it. Have you discovered yet what happened? Love the violin story!!

You didn't need freezer trouble but at least you had some R&R and an ice cream with music to soften the day.

A few years ago the power went out for five days, as luck would have it, it was winter time and we just put it all outside where it stayed frozen. After that we bought a gas stove so we could cook if and when it happens again...only this time I am sure it will be the gas that goes on the blink. Glad you had a fun time at the park.

Glad you found out in time to salvage some of the food. No one likes to find their freezer "out of order" but hopefully, another one will replace it soon? You deserved an ice cream treat after that work!!

RC A lot of people keep frozen food in the refrigerator. I don’t understand why because my mother died from colitis. She ate outdated hot dogs that she froze though love. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

Sorry about the freezer and I do hope it will be alright. We use
our freezer all the time.
That Ice cream sounds yum....everyone should have a treat just occasionally, not often though just once in a while.
