That's the trouble with family, ya can't divorce them! lol I do try to encourage like you but it can be hit or miss! I know when I started on Blogit I thought it was important to stay on the front page but it turned out to be more about reading others and hopefully they will return! It works and then it doesn't work! So to each his own and be satisfied is perhaps the best way to go! I thought it was very kind of you to give the carnations away! I wish we lived closer, I would take all the extras or whatever else off your hands! Damn pond anyway, lol! sam

I almost always post three poems a day, I have no idea why because I always like to do things in even numbers and I do get a better response when I post just one or two. It is just something I like to do specially now that work takes up so much time. I do remember when I was new and how hard it was to get noticed so I do try to give the new guys a kind hello when I notice them, but it has got to the point that it is hard for me to keep giving comments to those who never return the favor. There are some here who post every day and I have yet to see their comments anywhere...oh well. I know what you mean about dinner, my ex once cooked something that she knew I disliked so I feed it to the dog and ate corn flakes...after that she burnt my dinner every night for a week. Maybe that is why with this wife I have done the cooking for the last 28 years.

Well, sometimes it is for lack of time that there are no comments I suppose but I hope people read most of what is written CC. Blogit is a great place to be read and make friends at the same time gaining invaluable experience in writing and you get that mostly from reading the poetry or summaries written here.

Yes this is what is happening Wiley so many unproductive units. The government wants the doctors to say that "YOU ARE FIT ENOUGH TO WORK" The trouble is where is it, well it is around Polish men push trucks sweeping up etc., or washing vehicles. Folk don't want to have to pay 20pounds an hour to have their gardens tended, but I bet there would be plenty of work at ten pounds.

I think you are right Kabu, but when one sees things called Art making millions and Pop stars etc who in there right mind wants to be a plumber at eighteen.

I love your posts. You, Wiley and Lustorlove are the only ones who persist in replying to comments, a practice I love. We had more people, more readers and writers when we did that. I miss it but apparently not enough to post replies to comments. I love them. You are such a blessing to Blogit. We are down so many people. I wonder why we don't have more activity.

I would think that everyone would read this post...it is such fun as you
just let your mind wander and we your fans can wander along with you. i think our countries should invest in more trade schools...not everyone can be an academic and so many degrees today won't get a person a job anyway.

I think too many men are lying in bed now, too many programs for them to take advantage of and 'the wife' mostly works anyway. That's how they talk up north here still, 'the wife', crikey I'd be dead now talking that way about Kabu.LOL I'm happy Arthur has a favourite dish he makes, all you have to do is pop a couple of Diovol tummy tablets before you eat my friend. Blogit, well most new people don't understand the basics, one has to read some people to really be active in Blogit.
