You know CC. I wish they would just pick a time and stick with it, and yes the bigger stores are eating all of the mom and pop stores up, at least in the cities, out in the country they are still as quaint as they always were. We had more trick or treaters here than ever, I think it was all the advertizement of that darn pumpkin...No candy left for me.

As far as I'm concerned, saffron doesn't even have a taste.  But, it does seem to enhance the tastes of other ingredients in a recipe and it also adds a lot of color.

Re:

Well Lion I suppose a small child might be apprehensive these days of walking into shadows.

There is enough on the television and some computer games to scare them

That was unusually helpful of tech support.

My house got no trick or treaters either but then I have a tall hedge....

Re: How British to take the hint and upgrade your Wi Fi or whatever
Yes what as shame I think they hear the warning from the goose and feel a it uneasy. I was thinking can't you just get a neighbor to dig your dahlias up, I fear you are going to pull a muscle if your ground is heavy.  Cronk your knee and it takes ages to get over it.

Re:
Well done Sam good to have someone who can do the works. It use to be the same with watches one didn't know what the watch-mender did probably nothing much, but he knew how to charge.

How British to take the hint and upgrade your Wi Fi or whatever

but ignore the Hamster remark.

And if no children popped in for Candy....you will just have to eat it all yourself.

C_C_T...the whole idea of Daylight Saving Time seems like a waste
of time to me (my own humble opinion)...yes, I feel for the small business owners, be it grocery or otherwise...over here in Canada we have about three giant food corps that own everything, including the discount stores....

That was so funny on the hamster, but it got results! I got my sound back on my computer this morning and what a relief! My SIL to be is a computer whiz! He did a remote access and had me back in business in no time! Plus he was able to get some annoying programs off that would load themselves automatically when I started it up! It was so nice of him to help me out! And, I watch the dates on products because I have bought them in the past when they were close to expiration and it is frustrating! I am a few hours away from the trick or treaters so I must get some goodies or they will have tricks for me! lol sam
