Oh my goodness, that was too funny on R.S.'s reply! What we might think may not be the way it is! I loved that story! The pruning and trimming can be touchy depending upon the specie! I hope nothing adverse happens! sam

Kabu, but Arthur thinks it is a mere pittance. The rose is a deep red. I really felt sorry for the two pinkies and little yellow that was left I expect they will be thrown in the bin eventually of course if they are reduced further I might be tempted. The earlier ones are blooming like Billy-O under the car port. One day when you get a chance tell me what kind of soil you have I wonder if it is residue from the forest a bit peaty in mixture.
