Re:
Yes I suppose so Nita would not be much to harvest here only Brussels Sprouts. Although we have been promised another few days of sunshine which is remarkable.

I know of many who are having issues with their heating bills. With snow possibly occuring tomorrow I have a feeling that many are not going to be too pleased to see the next bill.

A busy day, and a busier shopping expedition! Thanks for your note. The harvest festivals will come up from January---celebrated at different times in different parts of the country!

Re:
Well Shobana I could not bother to argue, I did refuse the birthday ones as I don't think folk are having birthdays any longer. Arthur thinks he is still the baby of the family a pity he did not have a few real ones but he was a( new baby objector.) Sort of a Conscientious Objecter, for purposes you would not really believe. As milk is to water and pet is to beget.

I get those Foot and Mouth painters cards too and try to use them as much as I can but over here they come for all the 3 major festivals in a pack so I always get extra to send out. Well Arthur seems comfy enough CC.

I do not have a recipe for sponge cake! I don't recall ever making it! And, the heating bill can get up there! I watch mine closely and I dislike heating rooms that go unused, too! sam

Re: CCC
HI Wiley good thinking, but this is one that pushes the air outside and I wondered if it would be draughty in Winter.

If I were you I would install that fan if it's a ceiling type, because heat rises and the fan spreads it back down again and keep you cozier. We Inuit know such things old chap.

I would think that soy flour would work just fine in your spounge cake...after all it is the eggs that do all the work CC.
