yes, sleeplessness can cause writer's block, or simply a lulling of the
mind and all that goes with it.

FSI, I find myself in much the same place as you right now...
Helping J. do the odd job repairs he is doing for us during the day (although not today), and trying to blog after supper - much easier said than actually done...I usually read a bit and crash anytime after eight p.m.....

sometimes days are like that

I catch myself starting a movie too late in the evening and regret it the next day!  When we get our "minds" off schedule, due to insufficient sleep, it sure wrecks havoc with our thought process and most everthing else we try to do the next day.  Here's hoping you get more ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ's and come back feeling refreshed!

I have those days when I stay up too late as well! I hope you get more sleep in the days ahead or you might go bonkers with writers block! sam

Surfing 'net is so distracting, you can spend hours doing it.

I think many of others
have experienced days like these. I just let it roll until I too feel it again. The more you worry about it the less inclined you'll be to write.

That's one of the 'rules' for writers. Never intend to write when you're tired. Take a break and rest your mind. You're good to go after a good sleep and rest.  *hugs* for you
