explaining your reasons. PS no need to put a stamp on the letter, but it all helps someone.

Goodness Sam The things one does when one is young, but we are a smokeless zone more or less now. Well Sam most of the organizations are in debt here and the pension funds rely on the Share market in many cases, a double edged one

Yes Justi I am beginning to think too much goes into gimmicks instead of to the needy and they keep selling one's name to other charities which seems self defeating. Never mind keep smiling

I don't have enough to help in huge charities so I try to go directly to those who need and to small groups that I know will get help. My small amount would do little to change the world. A few of the large ones I trust but only a few. Have a great day.

I think you would be better off to forget the donations because we never really know where it is going! A gift prior to the donation seems like a scam to me! And our postage is going up after the first of the year, too! I doubt it will save them because they are woefully in debt! I have been in favor of stopping Saturday delivery, I don't know why they won't do it! And the chicken dung was too comical, I could see the smog of it all, too! lol sam

begging letters and in fact any unsolicited mail like for me to sign up for more credit cards...if they put an unstamped envelope in it....I repost it empty so that they have to pay the postage for nothing.
