Funny how things bring back memories Sam. Washing was a nightmare. I don't suppose it was done very often, but we did not notice.

Ten cent an hour is not much, lol! I got your money's worth, too! I could relate to the clothing and thinking it was something or someone else. When I was a youngster my biological mother had a thing for hanging clothes out in cold weather. Once the clothing froze and she had to bring them in and stand them up by the wood stove to thaw. I came into the living room and at first thought there was a lot of company! But I was only 6 or so! lol sam
