I live kind of out in the country, or at least far enough on the edge of town where I can sniff that fresh country air...I love it.

Actually I love the small town I live in now and loved the city when I lived there but my choice is the country. There is a peace one finds no where else; however, I understand a lot of drug activity has moved that way now. I am sure it is a lot different than when I was a child. Have a great week-end.

Goodness adnohr you are as bad as Kabu, mistakenly I thought ladies loved scenty things.

Seems like the best approach is a barrow of cow poo.

Nostalgia Kabu the fleeting moments of girlhood condensed that feeling of youth and freedom.

Re:
Well Sam I suppose that is why families quarrel they say things to each other that one would not say to a friend. Somehow I did not feel Joe was very well, but I thought of him as that aloof teacher who just wrote each day, it is sad really because he would have gained comfort I am sure from a few more comments. If I were you Sam, I would concentrate  on the 15 percent you are trying to mother too many eggs, the trouble is I am treating some of you guys as family and saying what I should not really say to friends.

LOLOL - the image of pigs floating over the village green had me giggling! I love the smells from a farm, cow poo and all. Brings back great memories! I don't find you're bringing down your family either...it's jsut a jolly chat on Blogit!

Oh well you can take the girl out of the farm but not the farm out of the

girl....I haven't been farming since my late twenties....yet when the farmer cleans out the cow sheds I love it.....go outside and take deep breathes.

All families have squabbles....well most do if they are honest. I am glad WSiley lived so far from family...I can't be blamed......well except for not being there!

I never thought of any of your posts as cutting your family down but more like the things that happen in life to us one and all! I have been on both sides of the fence and I just laugh it off when I do a dumb thing, but if it's a good and funny dumb thing I like to give it life for a good laugh! And if something happens to one of them, I do the same, but only with a little more robustness to it because that's what siblings do! LOL So, keep 'em coming, we've all made our blunders and the like! It makes for good reading that one can identify with! Thanks for going by to see Joe. He has not been well for a long time and posting poetry even though he can read and comment much gave him a purpose to keep going on! In this instance I think Blogit has been good for him and one I would never complain about not coming back to see me! LOL on me I had to get that in after my mini rant yesterday! I think when you read in your morning it is very early for us in the states and when you read in the afternoon it's our late morning! So, in either case it works out fine; it's a matter of when you would like to get your reading in that counts! But it is fun to be on Blogit the same time you are and come upon your comments shortly after you have posted them. So I felt so bad for the friend getting bit to the bone. I had a puncture type would from a dog once and they take forever to heal. All the best to your friend. sam

C_C_T...now there's a lesson for us all...
Never trust a Scot, er scottie..they'll take whatever you offer them, including your hand...yes, one really notices the smells out in the county this time of year - farmers must be on cleanup in their barns, cleaning them out for the winter when the cows will dirty them all up again....
