Re:
Right Lion but I try to drink red as it is supposed to be beneficial to ones health in moderation. Gosh you will get a bashing from Kabu she has a cellar full Of A. wine.

If only I had six lambs' tails, they would be at your doorstep! The omelet sounds delicious! sam

C_C_T..when it comes to grocery shopping...
I try to stick to the store's own brand (or no-name brand)...years ago I was shopping for butter and was told by a friend I met at the frozen food section to buy "XYZ" brand - it was exactly the same as the "Carnation" brand, just with a different label...I've tried to keep that in mind ever since....

I find most Australian wine to be a little brash for my tastes too, but then I love Eastern European wines although traditional French wine is still the best one for food

Re:
Shobana a real chance for you just lean over the hole and make sweet little noises cheepie cheep, something like that. Well the omelette set the fire alarm off it was slightly burnt and was only made of eggs, one day I shall make a sponge and show it on my blog, Some may wish to emulate the process. I have still got the sponge tins never been used from about two years ago. I must say you had a great response from your photos. I had a couple from mine. One from a psychiatrist and one from an undertaker.

Re:
Thank you Nita it is the one on blogger perhaps because I don't sign in and go straight to her site although I have always done it that way, I'll give it a whirl.

Hi CC, well I had a rat in my garden the other day running into a hole it made I suppose - caught me by surprise and the omelette sounded delectable.

Interesting! Thanks for your note, but I'm not sure which blog of Shobana's you're referring to--is it the one on blogger? After I sign in and go to my dashboard, I click on her blog from the list of blogs I'm following, and am able to add a comment. Hope that helps!

Re: CCC
Well Wiley they do say there is a rat for every person but I should not think you have your quota out in the frost zone. Honestly though I haven't seen one since I placed those little peeper machines around

Re:
Well adnohr you see it is just my way of appeasing the gentle sex learned very brutally over the years. Of course the incantations will remain a secret. We used to love Oxtails but since the foot and mouth scare quite a few years ago now, or what ever it was called, it kind of put us off. Yes Australian wines are lovely the best one can buy probably.

Re: Re lamb tails....would you like them crumbed and fried and served with
Well Kabu Australian is my favourite in some wines, but the Merlot I find is quite powerful. Oh I am not going to argue, you are the greatest

CCC
Now I've heard everything, the Pied Piper is back, LOL We used to have a dried up well full of rats when I was a kid and my dad filled that well with lime and sealed it with concrete.

SO you squeaked the rats out of a hole, but we talked you into letting the cat out of the bag!!As for my eating lamb's tails - not that I know of, but we ate what was put in front of us, and cleaned our plate, because nothing else was forthcoming...and no whining allowed - therefore, I really don't know! I may have eaten that very thing .... I LOVE Australian wines!

Re lamb tails....would you like them crumbed and fried and served with
Mint sauce...but what does it matter for drinking California wine instead of the fabulous bouquet of the Australian...the wonderful Margaret river flavour the German tang of the Barossa Valley ....Ah Me thinks I waste my time.

Do they cry Crex crex, Traonach while you are ringing their necks?

If you are putting corncrakes in your omelets, no wonder their population has diminished.  Couldn't you use chicken instead?
