Kabu..coffee makes a great wake-up drink in the morning...
There is something invigorating in even the smell of it brewing...no, I don't drink it all day long, but will have a "second cup" if I'm feeling headachy or ulta tired..

My brain is not dead, in fact in works on interesting things all the time....until I sit down at the computer. At that time, my thoughts fly out the window or hide under the bed and my brain goes into hibernation.

Lovely lady that brain is not, I repeat not dead. It wants a rest. It wants to do nothing, stress about nothing, share nothing it only wants to rest a bit. So go to sleep, rent a movie about nothing, decide that it is okay to not be nice at times, just be and see if you feel okay. Another thing..... Just because you enjoy a little more coffee today does not mean you will have to do this forever to not feel bad. Just peek in there for the problem, one little one at a time pull it out and give it go God to get it out of your basket. My basket gets so full at times I simply pull arm fulls out to give away before I am feeling really good. We love you dear one.

Good blog love and I'm sorry for your depression. Maybe it will pass after the hospital is done with me.Also it was cold today, and grey, and the trees are blowing like mad and we're thinking od winter. Then we watched the rest of Dr.Zhivago, it was all winter blizzards, and that didn't improve our demeanor. Anyway, here's what I really think:
"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea."

Writer's block comes with the territory and you are a writer indeed,
Dear Kabu. Depression seems to hit creative people more often too. I didn't know that about coffee; I love my brew too, but have to moderate my consumption. Interesting post!..:)

We all tend to get the dreaded (as writer's) brain dead every once in awhile. Sometimes, it's just best to put our brains on pause and then come back later, to hit the play button again

I haven't been in the writing mood lately. Part of it is due to being busy working. When I'm off, I don't have a lot of time to write (or energy). That's why I posted the you-tube videos today that my son made. They are quite good and hope you can visit and view them. Have a nice day!

Well looking at all your question marks makes me feel depressed. You must not be depressed I think it might be contagious. This blog has to be light and airy full of humour and free of tension. This is what my mother used to sing to me. It was a bit frightening. Three little Ghosties sitting on posties chewed their toasties all day long dirty little beasties chewed their little feasties. Chewed their little feasties all day long.

Hey Kabu - with nothing to write about, you sure packed a lot of great writing in! I love my 3 cups of coffee every morning (in a huge mug). I don't have any more during the day and I totally agree that taking ANYTHING to mask unhappiness is not a good thing.....Mal

I have found that there is often a cause somewhere with depression as well.

LOL - I like your 'nothing' posts...and I agree - we need to treat the cause, not just the symptoms.

I love the way you say "nothing" Kabu. It's just the exact
"nothing" I was thinking of -- why the mood has shifted in spite of the sunshine. Why so glum, chum? I do think there are chemical imbalances that affect the mood. Yesterday mine was brightened considerably by a small slice of chocolate silk pie.
