As I started reading this blog I thought about the cupboard doors and wondered if they had been installed! I am so glad you did not pay him because it might take a long, long time for him to show up! And that was very cool how you got your brother out of his harmless fib! Good for you! sam

Re:
Yes they go under it Lion, it does not seem very durable either. I am trying copper pipe. Of course one has to make sure there are no slugs inside the boundary or slug's eggs.

Re:
Well adnohr the reason I do not eat jam is because I do not eat bread sometimes I make Blackcurrant jam as this makes a drink. It is nice to see a family still bonded together so many disown their siblings. I could have clobbered mine at times but one gets over it. Blood is Blood

Your journal is certainly NOT boring. It's quite fun to read! Blackberry and apple jam...YUM! Why don't you eat it anymore? Concerning the comment on my post - yes - she's a beautiful girl, my daughter (I may be somewhat prejudiced ) and I'm pretty sure her brothers goof off so much just to hear her giggle!!

Re: CCC
Right Wiley I don't think I would care for graduated lenses. The lady I go to makes the patient read a little of Peter rabbit. She says by the flow of reading she can tell if the glasses are suitable only a few go to her now as Spec savers are cheaper, but I still tag along. I think it was Beatrice Potter who wrote the book.  Well we did not travel far Wiley or we would fall into the sea.

Something going around Kabu probably. My Saffron crocus are just pushing through. Please do not say that no one has not tasted saffron a most exotic sought after flavour. It used to be stored in Banks in some countries, well so I saw on the television.

I'm still stuck on "pickled" blackberries.  Is that another way of saying canned or preserved?

yes rest up a bit I don't like reading about you being dizzy....It is a

comfort to me that your brother pops in and out.

It is warm during the day here too. but raining so it is humid. we have had heaps of rain lately and more today...the garden is soggy and dying back. I have bulbs to plant once the chipmunks have closed their holes for the winter.

I hope you do get those glasses soon. I really understand that problem I used to have 3 pairs of glasses, one to drive, one to read and another to work the 'puter. Then the optometrist suggested bi-focals and that was fine for a couple of years. Then he said' Now how about trifocals, graduated lenses. I hated them and fell down a lot. Then I changed them for just regular tri-focals with lenses that hadn't graduated and now I am back to 2 pair of glasses, both of them bi-focals. Kabu can't keep up with me.Oh yes, I truly enjoyed the rest of your blog and wish my 2 living brothers lived closer than Montréal and Calagary.
