CCC
Liked the lad trying to figure out how the taps worked, probably had an electronic 'eye' one has to wave their wet hand in front of to get the water to run. I think your lady with the goose sees you as a 'mark' but you seem to know how to handle her. You're a nicer chap than me, I had a lady like that always leaning on me when I was on my own, mouthing off about my business, always had something for me to repair and finally I asked her if we'd got married and she didn't tell me about it. That put an end to her thank goodness.

Re:
I know it was a stupid thing to have to do shobana and there were brass buckles that one had to keep shiny. People used to run a mile when they saw her coming 50p was a good bargain to put her on the bus for a day.

Re:
Goodness no Taps that was the first time I had used the pan for a fortnight. I liked chip sandwiches with butter when I was working hard, but that does not appeal these days. I though afterwards I used a wooden spatula which I had washed carefully as it was new
perhaps the water seeped from that utensil.

Re: I wonder if you have any idea how nice a person you are...
Well I might do things that are painless Kabu, but I am an old cynic at heart. I mean I only tell you of the nice things I do. I think one becomes softer as one becomes older. What do you think?.

I must ask, do you ever eat greasy chip butties?
I cannot for the life of me imagine eating potato sandwiches, not even if they do have brown sauce on them.

I wonder if you have any idea how nice a person you are...
you buy from the shop on the estate to help the chap make a little living. You give away fruit flowers and money. They don't make nice people like you any more.
