Kabu my cat tears the doormat to shreds could you not get a scratching pole, a bit late this time I guess, I can't think that is painful unless one twists the claw. Goodness I think the vet looms. A good job it is not a tiger.

AH, yes. That is quite a task on an unwilling kitty! You need that walk in the sun!

That poet who wrote about cats and fog, etc.
was Carl Sandberg. He was big, kind of a rock star 50 years ago when I was in High School. For the life of me I could not remember his name...

There's one of those infomercials about a cat scratching thing that files
the claws as he scratches. They showed a cat using one of them, all contented and stretched out. Wish I could remember what they called it and what the price was. It would be great if it worked. We had one cat of ours declawed -- and after my daughter found out what they do to the poor kitty, she cried for a week.

We have the same problem with our cats, but we just use a pair of fingernail clippers and only get feed back from old Fat Boy who has no teeth to bluff with. So sorry I have been AWOL but I hope to get back to normal soon...good to read ya.

I myself always hated it when my mother cut my nails as a kid. I much prefer to do it myself.

When someone invents a no-trouble cat claw clipper, they'll make a fortune.
