It's interesting how people dress for the weather...I myself have not always dressed like I should given the temperature.

Re: Re: Re: Re:
I will check it out! And I am in a very good situation because I qualify for a grant to cover 3.5% of the down payment! I bought my last house and the interest was at a little over 8% and I ended up having to sell it. I can save at least $150 a month at the worst by buying a house now! So, hopefully all goes well and I can own instead of rent! I have read stories where folks have used up the equity to stay afloat over here, too! And some who want to buy have placed good faith payments, some very large, only to discover they cannot get a loan because their credit score had dropped! That was the first thing I did was to make sure my score was high enough to get a great interest! I can't imagine putting down a hefty sum of money without my score being high enough to qualify for the loan! But folks do crazy things at times! The one lady in this scenario was pleading for help but she was the one who had adverse reporting on her credit! Folks are told all the time to check for accuracy on their report! I recently challenged a an entry on my credit report and another challenge directly to a company because it had been reported incorrectly! One must remain vigilant if they want to get the loan! sam

Now I am off to get some sleep so I hope you have a great day!

Re: Re: Re:
Yes at a pinch I can carry it Sam and there is actually a smaller version go on to Honda site and have a look one day if my ground had been softer I would have got the smaller one. The engines are so reliable, some of those small rotovator are little devils to start especially if they cut out. Yes Sam it really is a good time to buy, one has to buy when others fear to do so and the mortgage rate can't go lower, folk forget it was 10 percent a few years ago and property will have to go back up again. The average rent for an ordinary house here I saw only yesterday is 750 sterling a month what's that over 1000 dollars. It is obvious people would buy but they cannot raise the deposit. If you can buy without a deposit, well most want 25 percent or lower if a guarantee comes from the parents, which is not good news because most older folk are taking equity out of their houses to keep up their living standards.

I wish we had known ear muffs when we were young Rumor chilblains on the ears were a source of discomfort. Yes moulds and pollens and dust Rumor I am careful of those, we sometimes get snow mould on the grass, but I don't know if that is dangerous as I sometimes get a white mould on vegetation if I forget to pull up grasses in the greenhouses. However my younger brother who was a research scientist says it is not harmful to humans. I still mask up if pulling it up though.

Re:
Have no fear Jay I still go by the old imperial measures if possible and most businesses show both, Of course the younger folk are metric. It has been a real pain at times one knew the old measurements and weights by guesswork almost. Yes trying to get rich quickly and becoming poor slowly.

Re: Re:
The migraines are not so bad of late. I have them frequently but they are mostly a day's duration! I think a lot it has to do with the mortgage. It's not a done deal til my signature is on it! I hope to hear something next week because I would like to lock in the interest! It's at a 60 year low of 4.09 percent! It can make a big difference on the monthly payment plus there are three housed I would love to put an offer on! But I must remain patient for it will unfold as it will! I meant to say that I am gleefully envious of your new toy, I hope to get one in the spring, but you have a beauty! sam

Re:
Yes thank you Sam. still feel like a 79 year old . I don't honestly think Amazon would mind what it was as long as it sold a few copies, I should try again it is such a large audience. Although I know you are in the thrall of beating the teams up at the moment and the migraines are not so consistent are they?

That was just too crazy on the cannon! I do believe someone could have been seriously hurt! I did like the prank with the carbide though! I saw you reply and I can't get the book to line up properly in Kindle so I just walked away from it for awhile! I think my problem is that I really don't want to publish my poetry, or at least I am not ready! So, it up in the air! Plus I have been very busy with my sports teams. My baseball team won their division and they get to go to the post season. Very exciting! Rumor and I root for the same team, too! Then my football team, not European style won a big game tonight, they are college level. The gathering is at my brother's house because he has one of those big screen TV's! They won tonight too! So it was a good day sports wise but I did spend a vast majority of the day sleeping off a migraine! Thankfully it is gone; they are so miserable. Are you feeling better? sam

I guess it is the same everywhere because I see these kids going coatless when there is 12 inches of snow on the ground...that is about a third of a meter for you Englishmen. I remember playing the same game with quarters, trying to get closes to the wall to win the pot. I suppose all in all the adolescent mind works pretty much the same the world over CC, but there is a real old world feel to your post that draws me in. I feel it is very well written and always worthe the read.

C.C....the kids over here dress the same way during winter...
From about 13 on, you'll see them with no hats or ear muffs, no scarves, coats undone...no wonder half of them go through winter with a perpetual cold...either that or they build up an immunity and never catch anything...we had a very very light frost here last night...thats okay with me, bring it on and kill the pollens and mould so I and a lot of other people can breath properly again..
