You keep me laughing as I read these posts.
This time I'm laughing about the brussels sprouts wine.  My grandpa made his own wine out of concord grapes he grew, and cherry wine from grandma's cherry tree.

Re: C.C..I've heard that Pheasants are nice birds and don't even taste
Rumor        Well stick bean wine was kind of scenty, and parsnip heady, potato quite pleasant. Pheasants were usually hung until ripe in high society Rumor sadly a lot of them end with just the breasts taken. Shot you see for sport?

like chicken....now that brussel sprout wine? Nooo way!...It doesn't surprise me they smelled like a sewer as they fermented....when I worked in the distillery insurance dept, we'd see lots of brandies and liqueurs and bourbons listed, but never that one....

AM more sure than ever I'd have liked your mom - my reaction would be the same, and too darned bad for the plant! I love wine, hate brussel sprouts. Can't believe THAT would be good!!

Oh my, Patrick picked a bad one to prove his point! I thought it was such a cool way to make some money on the helmets! It was good that you let the hides be tossed for it seemed you ended up doing just fine! And, I would have done the same as your mother, may have even scoped it out to be certain I was near a plant, too! lol sam

would be too good and the English were never noted for their bathing, years ago of course.

My friend in Ludlow made beautiful fruit wines...I tried them all and had to be helped to bed.
