When I was a child, we always had those sticky flypapers hanging in our chickenhouse. Also, we had a potty under my bed back then because the outhouse was way out back, but I've never heard it called a gussunder. LOL

Well you are in luck Sam they are back on the shelves at one or two small stores,
Mind we all used to grumble when the mother used the flit pump to exterminate one fly.
I can tell you Sam those poor ald cows gave about as much milk as a nanny goat.

Goodness Kabu I should have lived a double life, I suppose the gentry had a commode and let the butler deal with it. Which meant the bedroom maid, which meant the scullery maid which meant out of the window if no one was looking.

No adnohr we had the little wretch for 14 years and then I had a working collie strain from a farm, obviously he got bored, but chased rats and stole the chicken food when I was not looking.

I remember those fly papers, they were in my grandmother's house. They were so gross! My brother and I were talking about them a couple of weeks ago! So gross! You have a variety of experiences which are fun to read! The one with the cow cracked me up! sam
