B The Scottish band played. However it’s a remembrance. It’s sad. At the same time it could be a beautiful experience of caring about the survivors and their families. Also as a day of hope for tomorrow. There will always be war. But you imply in your posts of a way to live in it. Jesus’ the Way love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

I am sorry you feel this is hurtful. The lack of understanding is shown in your first paragraph. I am not speaking of any vision of my own. If you are reading only the New Testament you are not getting the collective vision. Jesus is from page one of Genesis to the last page of Revelation. God is a triune God... God the father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit  in one Godhead. You can only understand Satan in the wholeness of the work and wisdom of God if you read the whole Bible and only then when one has accepted the salvation of Jesus as you surely have read in the new Testament because there the Holy Spirit will give you truth and understanding of the Bible.

All that is happening right now, politically, climate issues, etc., were clearly written of thousands of years ago and was printed and ready for all to see right down to the natural disasters we are having now. Nobody has an opportunity to go now and say see this is my truth... It is the truth of God as was and is and will be until the Great White Throne of judgment is present. I am not saying what you are saying I am saying. You are not understanding what I am saying or do not know the subject well enough to make a judgement on it except what you choose to believe, that is totally your option; I have no control over what you believe. I do know your belief is not truth. Truch is not adjustable as the world is declaring now and that very fact as an expectation is covered in the Bible many years ago. Man will call good bad and bad good. It is here and there is little time left!

This is your viewpoint, Justi -nothing more, nothing less. Most truth is in the eye of the beholder and my own personal conviction is of a God who made every living thing on a timetable and with a creation we humans really can't or won't grasp and He needs not the trappings of manmade religion to flow His Loving Grace unto and throughout. I do believe Jesus is of God and He is a great teacher and spirit infinite. So I read the New Testament - with an open mind. I don't "put down" any religion - I simply think when it becomes about the religion and not about God, Jesus and their wisdoms-collective - it is not for me.
Those who do not believe in any higher power or do not subscribe to a particular mode of belief and perspective do not deserve to be called a "child of satan" I know people who are atheists who are generous of soul and loving of all life. Your label is wrong, very wrong and also hurtful in my view. I know you don't agree but I will leave it at that. Thank you for replying and for allowing me my say.

If those who complain and put down Christianity knew exactly what it is and what it is not there would be less complaining. Yes you are born into this word as a child with Adam spirit. You go through life as a worshiper by your thinking and acting whether or not you are aware. This is not something Christians label people with. You either worship God or Satan it it a matter of humanity having been created by God and having given up total grace without any price by their first sin..... Just the book of Genesis will clarify a lot. If you know what you are talking about then you know that is a statement as simple as calling one a common name of any sort. Anyone born a gentile of any ilk that does not become a blood bought Christian which makes you a child of God, is then you are a child o Satan. It can be reasoned away any way one wants; however, once you have taken the gift of salvation and studied it over and over for years upon years, especially through the teachings of the Holy Spirit you know what you are talking about. If you do not believe in God why would you be offended by the term Satan as in child of Satan?

This is not as simple as differing views, it is salvation or deception! When you state my truth is not yours etc., the only truth is absolute, it is not negotiable as mine, yours or anybodys but God's.

To label those who disagree with your viewpoint as being
and I quote "a child of Satan" does not sound Christian to me. This is the kind of rhetoric that makes people uneasy about sharing their opinions - not because they don't think they are valid but because they feel intimidated - nobody wants to be accused of being satanic, especially in a public forum - hardly worth the trouble or emotional toll to disagree. But I am of the type who will voice her reaction to blatant unfairness, no matter the consequence. Speaking of that, I strongly recommend a book called "Blowback" written by Chalmers Johnson. He was a conservative intellectual who held several behind the scenes policy positions. He knew enough for the CIA to draw from his knowledge about the effects of America's military actions in other nations. This is not saying our actions deliberately caused 9-11 but it is open fact that we have at times disregarded human rights - often to a large degree. Actions have consequences, a fact I acknowledge and accept because illusion leads to blindness and the blind are more likely to be blind-sided.
Justi, you have the right to freedom of speech and to be treated with respect, whatever your perspective. And so do those who hold differing views. Telling people they are a "child of Satan" is not respecting their right to disagree - your "truth" is not mine or the truth of others.
I hope you understand my response is not intended to hurt you or anger you.

Everyone must have their own ways of celebrating and remembering--all of them so very sad and hurtful.  I can't imagine anyone faulting you for how you feel and what you believe and how you express it.

It was a terrible and shocking time. You have the right to say exactly what you believe, Justi. Isn't that what our free countries are all about?

What an awful t hing happened that da y...  At the time two of my daughters were living in NTC... one a few blocks away from ground zero and I had just left the day before to come back to Miami Beach.  I remember the desperation of being so far away and watching things develop in the TV not wanting to believe my eyes, my heart telling me that such evil could not exist... Many of my friends and their children worked in the towers... several perished.  All I kept saying to myself was why... why?  why do something so horrible, what kind of people are these that have so little regard for the preciousness of life.  Its been 10 years and I still don't understand how they think.  Thanks for your comment Justi... xoxoxo
