I always feel akin to anyone who writes about the old times.
My old Aunt Mary used to make rag rugs. Mom used to take here bags of our old skirts and dresses to see if there was anything she could use for them.

Oh so sad. That was very hard way to live, but you were willing to do things the hard way rather than let the family go hungry. This really was a moving story.Thank you for sharing it. Be blessed.
